This CD is the first one dedicated to the vocal music of the Bedzan Pygmies from Central Cameroon. These virtuosos make their living from hunting, fishing and agriculture, but music and dancing also play a major role in their life. Their polyphonies accompanied by drums or zither-harps reveal once more this extraordinary science of counterpoint which is the hallmark of the pygmy musical genious.
